In looking back through our heritage through Angelo Baque’s lense and upbringing, we create a genderless capsule collection. Re-envisioning the iconic Tommy pieces that are at the heart of nostalgia, and bringing back relevance in a modern Awake NY take on the classics. Infusing Hiphop with the heritage of Tommy’s past pieces and clashing with the cultural and contemporary spirit of Awake NY, we reimagine the ‘Back to school’ uniform. Keeping youth, community and culture at the centre of this collaboration. Inspired by the Tommy archive, and centered around the Tommy t-shirt, we use this as the baseline of the collection.
